PERDIDO KEY ….Eleven spectacular and beautifully-designed condos in the Florencia community on Perdido Key were sold Saturday at absolute auction for a price of $3,3 million.

A total of 81 registered bidders attended, each of whom was required to bring required $35,000 in personal check, business check or certified funds in order to bid.

The enthusiastic bidders traveled from as far away as New York, Michigan and Texas.

The National Auction Group of Gadsden, an elite team of highly trained specialist in the marketing of one-of-a-kind, high-end properties, conducted the auction.

“Having this many bidders attend today shows the pent-up demand for high-end Gulf Coast condos,” said William Bone, President of National Auction Group.” Today we had a happy seller and numerous happy buyers which make this a successful auction by any definition. And it also demonstrates that this is a very efficient way for developers to find buyers for their unsold inventory.”
