•Junior competitors dominate Orange Beach courts in Polar Bear Classic Tennis Tournament

ORANGE BEACH—The 12th Annual Orange Beach Polar Bear Classic was held Jan. 10-11 at the Orange Beach Tennis Center. A total of 70 players from Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana and Florida participated in this Southern Level Five (5.0) tournament. National Top Ten Player Drew Baird (14) of Fairhope won the B18 division never dropping a set. Orange Beach local Raegan Mitchell (12) won the G16 division also without dropping a set. As it was Alabama's first tournament of the year, top players competed in the Orange Beach Polar Bear Classic. The players participated to prepare for the upcoming Southern 1A tournaments being held throughout the South.
