1st. Sgt. Phennie Campbell Pollock, a native of Fairhope and resident of Jonesboro, Ga., departed this life March 28, 2014.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her mother, Cora Campbell; a son, Makil (Beth Scruggs) Shahid of Manassas, Va.; a longtime, devoted friend, Renard Smith; and siblings, Bishop Clyde Campbell, Edward Campbell, Rev. Charles Campbell, Clarence Campbell, Co-Pastor Lula Durgin, Minister Mary Thomas and Catherine Campbell.
Services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
Interment will be at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
