FOLEY – The 6th Annual Festival of Flavor, sponsored by Riviera Utilities, Global Marketing Solutions, Alabama Coasting Magazine and WKRG News 5 is set to take place on Saturday, October 7 in the streets of Old Towne Foley. You don’t want to miss this tasting extravaganza! This event presented by the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce showcases some of the area’s top chefs, restaurants and breweries.
Local chefs will be competing for their ticket into the World Food Championships. Restaurants will be dishing up samples of some of their tastiest menu items and food trucks will be onsite for those with bigger appetites. Lagunitas, Sweetwater, Big Beach Brewing and Low Brim Brewing will be onsite to talk about their craft beers and vineyard owner Bobby Flourney will have samples of his wine from Mile Post Wine Co.
Don’t be worried about missing the big games! You can catch the action on the big screen in the Game Day area or head over to the VIP tent to relax while cheering on your favorite team. The kids can keep busy as they build masterpieces in a giant sand box or the family can play a fun game of yard Yahtzee!
Admission to the event is free. Tasting tickets can be purchased onsite or pre-purchased online at AlabamaFestivalofFlavor.com.
