210 Hangout Fest fans receive treatment on site

GULF SHORES, AL - According to Gulf Shores Fire and Rescue Deputy Chief Keith Martin eight festivalgoers have been transported by ambulance since the kickoff party on Thursday.

For both days of the festival so far 210 people have received treatment from four locations on the festival site. Of those eight required transport to an area hospital.

Friday was the festival's first of daylong concerts at the site and 197 people received first aid and six were transported. On Thursday on, which was a kickoff party at the Boom Boom Tent, only 13 received treatment.
