The ARMT+ Testing Dates are April 10th - 13th for BOTH 7th and 8th grades. Starting Tuesday and going until Friday the students will be testing in Math, Reading and Science. The test will begin in the morning so please make sure that your child is here and on time each day. All appointments should be scheduled after 11:30 on those days as well.We know that they are prepared, but we need your help to make sure they have what they need when they arrive.
Book Fair!! Please remind your students that the Book Fair will be here through Friday, April 13th and that students may come with a pass from a teacher after all students have been dismissed from the testing rooms. Students may still donate a $1 to buy books for the library and win the big baskets of goodies.
Midterm Reports will be sent home on Friday, April 20th with students. Please take a moment to look over these with your student.
Congratulations!! Foley Middle School is proud to announce that the FMS Boys Soccer Team has once again won the County Championship for Baldwin County. This is the 2nd year in a row for the team and we proudly yell “Go Lions!!!” We are all very proudof the team. Spanish 1 will be offered at the middle school next year that will meet one of the high school requirements for a foreign language! If you are interested in your son or daughter taking this year long class for enrichment please complete application that will be sent out next week. There is only one class being offered with a maximum of 40 slots and available only to 8th grade.
Do you have a child interested in Science, Math, Engineering and Technology who wants to help plan and build the first resort on the imaginary, earth-like planet Goldilocks? At the ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp hosted by the University of South Alabama, your middle school child can do this and more. Each day, campers will attend highly-interactive classes in the natural sciences, engineering, mathematics and technology, taught by a teaching team of secondary classroom teachers and USA faculty.
