4-H Animal Science Club
All Baldwin County youth ages 9-18 interested in learning about livestock are invited to join the new Baldwin County Animal Science 4-H Club. This fun, hands-on, educational club will meet monthly, usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month, starting on June 22. Sessions will be held on farms throughout the county.
Our primary focus will be learning about cattle and the cattle industry. In 2021, our activities will be completely educational. In 2022, we will add opportunities for livestock judging, quiz bowl and steer and heifer projects to allow members opportunities that fit their interests. For the Baldwin County Steer and Heifer Show, weigh-in will be in March 2022 and the show in September 2022.
There is no charge to join 4-H. Youth do not have to live on a farm or have cattle to participate in this club. Please join us at our first meeting on June 22, 2021 from 6 p.m. -7:30 p.m. at the Baldwin County Fairgrounds at 19477 Fairground Road in Robertsdale.
