7 new additions to Hangout Music Festival for 2024: What you need to know before you go

Posted

Countdown to 2024 Hangout Music Festival check: only 19 days until we are living our best music festival life on the white powder sand in Gulf Shores.

There are seven new additions and changes to the festival for 2024, and Gulf Coast Media has all the details for you once again.

New Stages

The Boom Stage is on the move for this year’s festival. The Boom Stage was on the street last year and will shift to the beach and take the place of last year’s Surf Stage. Along with a new location, the stage is getting added production with more lighting and lasers. The VIP guests will enjoy an expanded VIP viewing footprint including more shaded lounge space, stage viewing and upgraded bar offerings.

Artists you can catch on the Boom Stage include The Chainsmokers, Subtronics, Dom Dolla, Alison Wonderland, Sexyy Red, TroyBoi, Disco Lines, Daily Bread, Kasbo, Odd Mob x OMNOM: Hyperbeam, Westend and BUNT.

A whole new stage has been added to the mix this year. Shoreline Stage presented by Malibu Rum will find a place between the Boom and Hangout Stages. This will be the only stage with the Gulf of Mexico as the stage backdrop, but the acts will keep your focus. Performers set for the Shoreline include Koe Wetzel, Doechii, Megan Moroney, NLE Choppa, Qveen Herby, Del Water Gap, The Beaches, Dylan Gossett, Dexter and The Moonrocks, hemlocke springs, Dasha and Brenn.

New Features

You will still need to slather on the sunscreen, but event organizers have added more shade to the event site. We aren’t talking a little shade but double the shade of festivals past. Three large structures on the beach and two large, shaded dining pavilions at Big Tap will give music fans more spots to take a break.

Speaking of taking a break, don’t miss the Nosh Pit. Fuel up in the brand-new Hangout Nosh Pit where snacks will be served all day long in the shaded dining area adjacent to Boom on the Beach.

Pass-Specific Value Adds

If you haven’t purchased your Hangout Music Festival pass, there is still time. This year, event organizers have added amenities to all three pass levels.

GA Plus pass holders will enjoy an expanded GA Plus lounge with permanent bathroom facilities, shade, bar, lockers, lounge seating and more. If you need to get in your workout, you can enjoy the jungle gym.

VIP pass holders will enjoy the expanded Boom on the Beach by Shein VIP area offering more viewing space, shade and seating.

Super VIP pass holders get an up-front viewing area at Hangout and Boom on the Beach stages.
