Aaronville woman charged on five drug counts

Posted

A 26-year-old Foley woman was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center on Wednesday following the execution of a search warrant at her residence on Third Avenue in the Aaronville neighborhood.

A Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office press release identified the woman as Airgura Monique Autrey. The Baldwin County Drug Task Force had conducted a two-month investigation into Autrey allegedly selling crack cocaine from her residence on Third Avenue, BCSO said.

The search warrant turned up approximately seven grams of crack cocaine and a small amount of marijuana.

Autrey remained in the Correction Center as of Friday charged with possession of a controlled substance and three counts of distribution of a controlled substance, all four charges being felonies. She was also charged with second-degree marijuana possession, a misdemeanor.

Autrey’s bond was set at $5,000 on the possession of a controlled substance charge and $10,000 each on the three distribution charges. Bond on the marijuana charge is set at $1,000.

A check of Correction Center records shows that Autrey has previously been booked six times on a variety of charges, none of them having to do with drugs.
