Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Senior Centers have teamed up with AARP to offer a two-day drivers safety class. The class will be Aug. 2-3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Harry Roberts Community House, 300 E. 16th Ave., Gulf Shores.

Course completion may qualify participants age 50 and over to receive auto insurance discounts in most states.

The course fee, which covers all materials, are $12 per person for AARP members and $15 per person for non-members of AARP. Call the Harry Roberts Community House 968-1434 to register. Seating is limited, so those who wish to participate should register soon.
