DAPHNE, Ala.—The government of Bahrain’s General Organization for Youth and Sports has signed an agreement with the United States Sports Academy to teach programs that will provide students in the kingdom with certification in sports management.
The agreement was signed jointly Sunday in Bahrain by academy President Thomas P. Rosandich and GOYS President Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa.
The academy will send instructors to Bahrain to teach sports education courses designed to broaden student knowledge in the sports-related areas of business, administration, personnel management, marketing, public relations and facility management/program development.
Courses will focus on the development of professional sports-management skills that are essential to implementing sports-related programs.
