Laney Michelle Adcock of Montgomery and Nathan David Morris of Montgomery were united in marriage Nov. 11, 2007 at The Alumni House in Jacksonville with Rev. Truman Norred officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Adcock of Gulf Shores.

She is a graduate of Foley High School and the University of South Alabama. She is employed with Lamar Advertising in Montgomery.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Morris of Jacksonville.

He is a graduate of Jacksonville High School and is a student at Troy University.

The bride, given in marriage by her mother and father, wore an Oleg Cassini gown of ivory satin and tulle. She wore a custom made bird cage veil and carried a beautiful bouquet of red calla lilies, roses, and carnations.

Lacy Adcock, sister of the bride, of Gulf Shores, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Anna Taylor, sister of the bridegroom, of Alexander City.

Music for the ceremony was provided by David Morris, father of the bridegroom.

Chris Varnon of Jacksonville served as best man. Groomsmen were Seth Taylor, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, of Alexander City Turner Adcock, brother of the bride, of Gulf Shores.

A reception at Jacksonville State University Alumni House followed the sunset ceremony under the pavilion next to a roaring fire.

Following a wedding trip to Disney World, Orlando, Fla., the couple resides in Montgomery.
