ROBERTSDALE — Veterans Day Celebration, hosted by the George P. Thames Senior Center, will  be held beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at the PZK Civic Center, 17933 Highway 104, Robertsdale. Everyone is invited to attend to honor veterans in all branches of military service.The colorguard will perform. Guest speaker will be James “Jim” Roberts, retired Marine Corps veteran. LOXLEY — Veterans Day Celebration will be held beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at the Loxley Civic Center, 4198 Municipal Park Drive. The event will feature a potluck dinner and music. The town of Loxley will provide meat. Guests are encouraged to bring a side dish. All veterans and their families are welcome to attend. ELBERTA — Veterans Day Program will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 on the grounds of the Baldwin County Heritage Museum, 25521 U.S. Highway 98, Elberta. Guest speaker this year will be Baldwin County’s Judge of Probate Tim Russell. Taps will be played by Robertsdale High School Band members Gabriella Garza on trumpet, Brandon Williams on mellophone and Houston Hughes on snare drum. The museum will be open for viewing the “WWI-WWII Memories of Baldwin County” exhibit. This exhibit features items from these wars but features the men and women who served in these wars from Baldwin County. This exhibit will be on display through the first week of December. SUMMERDALE — Veterans Day Program will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 at the Summerdale Municipal Complex, 502 W. Lee St., Summerdale. The event will feature a special performance by the Baldwin County Youth Orchestra. Please bring photos of veterans by Town Hall before Nov. 2 for a slide show presentation.
