Adele Stewart Stabler, 97, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at Century Care Center in Century, Fla.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Jerry (Carol) Stewart of Bay Minette; a daughter, Elaine Bray of Bay Minette; her daughter-in-law, Kay Stewart of Bay Minette; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Louise Quinley; her son, Eugene Stewart; her first husband, Arthur Stewart; her second husband, Earl Stabler; a great grandson, Bradley Gray; son-in-law, Mike Bray; five brothers; and three sisters.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at 10 a.m., at New Life Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Montalvo and the Rev. Otis Thames officiating. Burial will follow at New Life Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, from 6 until 9 p.m., at New Life Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Michael Eugene Stewart, Todd Finney Stewart, James Chadwick Stewart, Nicholas Wayne Gray, Lance Randall Ganey, Logan Durwood Ganey, Carl Conrad Bender and Michael Wayne Gray.
