Roma Michael Adkins, 81, a native of Martinsville, W.V., a longtime resident of East Liverpool, Ohio, and a resident of Robertsdale, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008.
After proudly serving his country during World War II, he worked at Crucible Steel Mill for 41 years. There he represented his coworkers as a union representative. During this time he was also a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Adkins Burchett of Toledo, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Hazel Adkins of Robertsdale; two sons, Terry (Paula) Adkins of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Michael Adkins of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Debbie Adkins Blair of Mobile; eight grandchildren; brother, Marion Sias of East Liverpool, Ohio; sister, Dolly Cook of East Liverpool, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with Funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26 from the Mausoleum Chapel at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, Pa.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
