Agnes Rae Lambert Cooper, 89, born in Atmore and a resident of Loxley, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 at Thomas Hospital.
She was a longtime resident of the Pine Grove community of Bay Minette and a former resident of Rotary Village. She was also a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Gaboury of Fairfax, Va., Joseph Wayne Cooper of Pine Grove, Larry Ray (Jane) Cooper Sr. of Foley, Jimmy (Sharon) Cooper of Gateswood, David M. (Angela) Cooper of Robertsdale and Juana (Harold) Rolin of Atmore; 12 grandchildren, Todd Gaboury, Lynissa Rae Newsome, Charlin Knight, Brian Turk, Kristi Stevens, Loree Sherrer, Larry Cooper Jr., Kayla Cooper, Sara Cooper, Justin Taylor Jr., Gina McGhee and Heather Dickman; and 40 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Cooper; a daughter, Janice Turk; and two granddaughters, Hannah Lauren Knight and Kylee Dickman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at 11 a.m., at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Michael Glenn officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, from 9 until the service at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 42240 Pine Grove Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507, or to Rotary Village, 2211 McMillan Ave., Bay Minette, AL 36507.
