Ahoy, wooden boat owners!

The 7th Annual Heritage Harbor Days festival will be held Nov. 2-4 in Heritage Park and J. B. Foley Park. Many founding families used wooden boats for recreation and commercial use during Foley and Baldwin County’s early years.

This year, Heritage Harbor Days will feature a Wooden Boat Show in J.B. Foley Park the final two days of the event. The Wooden Boat Show will showcase some of the finest wooden boats from our area and surrounding states.

Visitors will be able to meet and talk to wooden boat craftsmen, manufacturers and owners.

Holly Resmondo, chairman of this year’s Boat Show is working hard to ensure this new exhibit will be a success.

The Heritage Harbor Days Wooden Boat Show will be surrounded by arts, crafts, music, food, carnival and more as they welcome Winchester, Tenn.

Prizes will be presented to the winners in each category that Sunday afternoon. If you are interested in entering your wooden boat in the show, contact the Foley Convention and Visitors Bureau at (251) 943-1200 for registration form.
