AHSAA cross county sectional meets were completed and the top three boys and girls teams in each section have qualified for Saturday’s 5K state championships.

Local teams, runners qualified for state X-C 5K

AHSAA cross county sectional meets were completed and the top three boys and girls teams in each section have qualified for Saturday’s 5K state championships. The top six individual runners not on the top three teams also qualified.

There are six classes — 1A-2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A and 7A — where titles will be decided Saturday, Nov. 12 at Oakville Indian Mounds Park in Moulton. Each class has four sections except Class 6A, which has six sections.
