"font-size: small;">Set to take place Thursday night at Rhodes Civic Center in Bay Minette, the fundraiser recognizes those who have completed the organization’s treatment program.
"font-size: small;">“We are a 12-month residential discipleship, substance-abuse treatment program for men, women and youth,” ATC Program Director Orville Johnson said in a telephone interview.
"font-size: small;">While the Bay Minette facility does so, it houses 30 men as part of the process.
"font-size: small;">“Our facility is an adult-male facility,” Johnson said.
"font-size: small;">It’s one of five ATC treatment centers in the state.

"font-size: small;">“Alabama Teen Challenge is part of one of America’s oldest, largest and most successful faith-based drug and alcohol restoration programs,” a news release states. “For nearly 50 years Teen Challenge has been providing quality, low cost recovery programs for individuals of all ages.”

"font-size: small;">Thursday’s banquet will help fund the center’s program.

"font-size: small;">“We have a more than $300,000 annual budget,” Johnson said.

"font-size: small;">But 300 attendees are expected for the annual banquet, which is up from 220 in 2011 and will be filled to capacity.

"font-size: small;">“It’s been growing every year,” Johnson said.

"font-size: small;">This year’s attendees will be treated to a presentation by Splat Experience, a Christian artist performance ministry.

"font-size: small;">
"font-family: Calibri;">“For the last seven years the ministry has performed its unique worship-themed painting presentations in churches, schools, music festivals, conferences, conventions and recently in 85 cities with 2008 Group of the Year, Casting Crowns,” the ATC news release states.
