Bobby Aldridge of Chelsea and Karen Aldridge of Pelham announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Michelle Aldridge of Pelham to William “Billy” Ray Rigdon of Helena, the son of Chris Rigdon of Trussville and Linda Duke of Helena.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Clara Nell Aldridge of Fairhope and the late Boyd Aldridge, Laverne and Leon Darnell of Fairhope and Cecil Rayborn of Magnolia Springs.
She is a 2006 graduate of Samford University with a degree in interior design. She is employed locally.
The prospective bridegroom will graduate from Auburn University May 9 with a degree in mechanical engineering.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Magnolia Springs Manor in Helena.
