Alice Grace DiPirro

Alice Grace DiPirro, 80, a native of Michigan and a resident of Daphne, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010 after a brave fight with her illness.

She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and loved watching sports. She also enjoyed writing letters to all her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Dorothy Brownie; brother, Donald Brownie; and sister-in-law, Beverly Brownie

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Bernard DiPirro of Daphne; two daughters, Susan Marie DiPirro of Daphne and Laura (Ted) Tornambe of Silverhill; son, Paul (Sara) DiPirro of Ann Arbor, Mich.; four grandchildren, Anna, Anthony, Maria and Sofia DiPirro, all of Ann Arbor, Mich.; brother-in-law, Michael (Jackie) DiPirro of Houghton Lake, Mich., numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 at Christ The King Catholic Church

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, second floor, Bethesday, MD 20814, www.cff.org; or Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, 706 Haddonfield Road, Cherry Hill, NJ, 08002, www.msassociation.org.
