Alissa Joan Farr, 50, passed Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014 at a local hospital.
Known to friends and family as Lisa, she is survived by her parents, J.W. Ralph and Margie Dorgan Farr; husband, John Merchant; two children, Dustin Cooke and Brandy Cooke; a grandchild, Jaylen; seven sisters, Celina (Dwain) Sanders, Lydia Hathcock, Lynne Ingram, Laverne (Lester) Brannon, Lizette (Mark) Turner, Leita (Mike) Ewing and Lynette Burress; a brother, Jay (Kritsy) Farr; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Lisa loved life and above all else, her family. She will be greatly missed. We love you Lisa, and you will forever be in our hearts and our thoughts.
A celebration of life will be held at Orange Beach Community Center, 4849 S. Wilson Blvd. in Orange Beach, on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, from noon until 5 p.m.
