FOLEY, Ala. — Mr. and Mrs. Arira L. Allen Jr. announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Allen, to Tony Hughes Jr. Hughes is the son of Mr. Tony Hughes Sr. of Brentwood, Tenn. and Mrs. Karen Dehnki of Franklin, Tenn.
The bride-elect is a Foley High School graduate, and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2005. She works for HCA in Nashville, Tenn.
She is the granddaughter of Wayne and Carolyne Hollis of Foley and the late Lloyd and Mildred Allen of Bon Secour.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Centennial High School in Franklin, Tenn. He also graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2005. He works at HealthSpring in Nashville.
He is the grandson of Nelson Cummings and the late Rebecca Cummings of Bradenton, Fla., and the late William and Mary Hughes.
The couple will exchange vows April 30, 2011, at 5 p.m., at St. Andrew by the Sea in Gulf Shores.
