"font-family:">Allen W. “Bogey” Hall, 73, a native

and resident of Foley, died Wednesday, Dec. 21,

2011.

"font-family:">Mr. Hall was a graduate of Foley High

School, and attended the University of Alabama and Faulkner State

Community College.

"font-family:">He began his 42-year law enforcement

career as a K9 officer with the Lubbock, Texas Police Department.

He also served as a patrol office for the Foley Police Department,

and later was the Assistant Chief of Police for

Foley.

"font-family:">In 1973, Mr. Hall graduated from the

FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va., and was selected as an

honorary member in acknowledgement of his distinguished and

instructional service to the Alabama Judicial College Faculty

Association.

"font-family:">He was a criminal investigator for

the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office, as well as an

environmental investigator.

"font-family:">He loved to write stories from his

personal life experiences.

"font-family:">He is survived by wife of 33 years,

Fran Hall of Foley; two daughters, Theresa (Reeves) Fell of Perdido

Beach and Lynn Dee Hall of Foley; a son, Jason (Kim) Hall of

Elberta; one sister, Edwina Bastion of Osawatomie, Kan.; two

brothers, William T. (Virginia) Hall Jr. of Lillian and Howard Hall

of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren and one

great-grandchild.

Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home Chapel,

with a memorial visitation from 1-2 p.m. prior to the

service.

"font-family:">In lieu of flowers, memorials may be

made to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Boys Ranch, 21870 County Road

32, Summerdale, AL 36580.
