GULF SHORES, Ala. — Allison Michelle Pavey of Birmingham will marry Robert Mattmuller Grant of Birmingham.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark David Pavey of Montgomery. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Pat Pavey and the late John Pavey of Anderson, Ind. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Buford Lawrence of Montgomery.

She is a 2003 graduate of LAMP High School in Montgomery. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and food science from Auburn University in 2007 and a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2009.

She is currently employed as a registered dietian at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.

The groom-to-be is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Grant Jr. of Gulf Shores. He is the grandson of Mrs. John Robert Mattmuller and the late Mr. Mattmuller of Barlow Bend, Ala. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Grant of Gadsden.

He is a graduate of Gulf Shores High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Auburn University in 2006.

He is employed by First Protective in Birmingham as a financial advisor.

The wedding will take place March 19, at 4:30 p.m., at the Eastern Green in Rosemary Beach, Fla.
