Rosemary “Mickey” Alsdorf, 85, a native of Ottumwa, Iowa, a longtime resident of Abilene, Texas, and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007 at her residence.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Albert J. Alsdorf; four children, Carolyn (Billy) Brown of Gulf Shores, Mark (Linda) Alsdorf of Albuquerque, N.M., Scott (Laura) Alsdorf of Abilene, Texas, and Amy Spoon of Foley; two sisters, Geraldine McGraw Hoffman of San Antonio, Texas, and Dorothy McGraw Elliot of Knoxville, La.; six grandchildren, Craig Brown, Katherine Brown McCartey, Jacob Brown, Taylor Spoon, Daniel Alsdorf and Stacey Alsdorf; eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 from the chapel of Pine Rest Funeral Home, Foley. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Community Hospice of Baldwin County, 2770 S. McKenzie St., Foley, AL 36535.
