It’s been happening for years … in many ways. But, here’s the latest, concocted by non-other than New York Sen. Charles Schumer with the bi-partisan second of neophyte Utah Sen. Mike Lee:
If Schumer gets his way with newly proposed federal legislation, any foreigner could buy real estate in the United States and automatically become eligible for a Residence Visa to legally enter and then live in any of the 50 states.
Could it be that the wily Wall Street darling of democrat progressives doesn’t understand that installing such federal legislation would overtly move the United States closer to the longtime goal of internationalists and the objectives of UN Agenda: Open Borders!
We’ll report on that, and you decide. But, there’s more to chew on.
Some Americans will lament that either Schumer was able to snooker Lee into co-sponsoring what will be advertised and promoted by the media as a bipartisan bill … or, this co-sponsorship could be a second red flag to all concerned citizens as well as those tea party supporters who helped Lee unseat Bob Bennett in last year’s Republican primary and that the Utah freshman may be too eager to go along to get along in the clubby U.S. Senate.
The first flag may have come two months ago when during the debt ceiling soap opera, Lee announced he planned “to filibuster the vote on the bill.” Lee stated that he “… will insist that at least 60 senators support the final plan.” That was good because 60 votes are needed to stop a filibuster and proceed to a final vote, which takes only 51 votes for passage in the U.S. Senate.
But, Lee then stated that, “He won’t use the power every senator has to demand a 30-hour debate under Senate rules, which would delay a vote.”
Likely, almost all Utah citizens, indeed all Americans, missed Lee’s ominous qualifier. Equally likely, Chuck Schumer did not.
More likely, Chucky got it and, over the last several months, got Lee. That points to one of the major problems within insider Washington and the federal government.
Now, Americans have yet another specious piece of federal legislation that does nothing to genuinely address the original direct causes and undermining effects of past and continuing government interventions and manipulations in the domestic housing market.
Does the Schumer-Lee bill help America’s Citizens, those without jobs, who want to find work?
Or, those underwater in their homes or, those behind in mortgage payments, who if or when evicted, will still need a place to live?
You get the picture. It is not pretty. So, who is Chucky and Mike trying to help?
