American citizens have many opportunities to say ‘No’

Do you remember the book titled “Getting to Yes?”

If We The People can ever once again get to “Yes” — economically, morally and politically — we must first develop the personal will to explore and accept  the many opportunities now in front of us to resoundingly say “No” to every government encroachment and attempt to increase government spending and taxes.

Down through the generations, the moral and economic decline as well as the calamitous acceleration of this decline is both the cause and the result of the political decline and degradations weeded in the pastures of American society.

Who may be behind the decline?

Most of those who might deserve indictment reside within or commute daily into Washington, D.C., Hollywood, Chicago and New York, roaming the halls, studios and casinos of federal government, entertainment and financial gaming.  t is there where they practice the pernicious witchcrafts that have so harmfully infected public policy, the arts, media, banking and some businesses.

The unvarnished truth is that our Founders, who established free markets so we would be forever free to choose, have been supplanted by those who today seem focused on “free to collude; and,

Individual Liberty, shouted in writing with our Declaration of Independence as well as set in the stone of our Constitution’s founding rule of law, which established clearly the specific limits of government, and the breath of the rights of the people have been and continue to be superseded by federal fiat.

The bill of particulars is already long and the list continues to grow daily.

Each concerned citizen is familiar with their customized list.

That so many issues on your list are the same on so many others’s lists is the severe scope of problems.

What to do?

Perhaps, a cross-section of Americans should once again be reconvened in Philadelphia?

If so, those citizens reconvening could randomly be selected from those with such familiar names as George Washington, Ben Franklin, Tom Jefferson, et al.

Such notable names could be sourced from the national White Pages. You get the wry yet bitter truth?

Want more to ponder?

It should not be a surprise if at such a Philadelphia gathering, insightful citizens decided that “we copy the original Founding Documents — change only the date — and immediately reissue both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.

Of course, in the current reality, there likely will never be a reconvening in Philadelphia.

Powerful interests, including those described earlier, would work hard to stop it or delay it until they could figure a way to both control and steer it in order to further their own insider will and current agenda.

Indeed, isn’t that what is meant by those who say “the Constitution is a living document”?

In the interim:

Seize every opportunity to simply say “No” to every spending and tax increase, every government regulation and encroachment.

And, seize this opportunity to Sign the Declaration of Independence at Citizens For Change.
