Amy Elizabeth Wynn, 45, a native of Cohasset, Mass., former resident of the Eastern Shore and a resident of Foley, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010.
She attended St. Margaret’s of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley.
She attended primary and secondary schools in Groton, Mass., and advanced her education at the University of Massachusetts. She represented the Northeast in National U.S. Pony Club cross country competitions. She was a member of the American Continental Young Riders’ Championships. She was a frequent ribbon and medal winner. She had been a member of the Cohasset, Mass., Sailing Club. She was an accomplished artist using oils and watercolors. Her hobbies included gardening and she cared for her many pets, especially Mazie, her American Eskimo dog.
Survivors include her husband, John Wynn of Foley; her parents, Monique J. and Richard E. Houghton of Fairhope; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Private family services will be held.
