Amy Evelyn Merrill, 42, born in Arlington, Texas and a resident of Daphne, passed away unexpectedly at Thomas Hospital on Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
She graduated college from Texas State at San Marcos in 1994 with a degree in interior design.
Amy will be remembered by her family and friends as a kind, loving person with a generous, giving heart.
She was preceded in death by her father, Byron Merrill.
She is survived by her daughter, Erin Evelyn Haught; son, Daniel Wiles Haught; mother, Patricia (Brown) Merrill; sister, Dana Merrill; and other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at United Methodist Church of Dozier. Pastor Charles Myers will officiate.
