Mrs. Amy Hope Siewertsen Gilley passed away in her sleep Monday, June 11, 2012, age 48, a resident of Robertsdale, AL and a native of Bridgeport, CT.
She was survived by: Husband; Robert O’Neal Gilley, Robertsdale, AL, Children; Michael Siewertsen of New Hampshire, Larry Hart, Jr. and Danny Hart of Vermont, Jennifer Stearns of Florida. Three beautiful grandchildren; Lilly, Sophia and Reed, Sisters, Lynn Hathaway of Vermont, Cindy Goslant of New Hampshire Kathleen Fortin, North Carolina, Susan Siewertsen of New Hampshire and Christine Ricker of Vermont. Amy was small in stature, but made up for it with her love of life and her five kitties (we all know how she was about her cats). For those that knew her, her personality was as large as the sun, her heart as big as the galaxy, and her love for family and friends made the universe look tiny by comparison. Amy always said that when she was gone, she didn’t want anyone to be sad or to mourn her passing, instead, have a party to celebrate her life. We are going to do just that. YOU WILL BE MISSED! WE LOVE YOU! A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later time from the Robertsdale 1st Baptist Church.
