LOXLEY, Ala. — In a special meeting Monday at its Central Annex in Loxley, the Baldwin County Board of Education voted to appoint Chuck Anderson, former Baldwin County Athletic Director, as the new Central Baldwin Middle School principal in Robertsdale.
Effective Aug. 31, 2010. Anderson will take over for Michael Vivar, who is now the new transportation coordinator for Baldwin County Schools. Anderson has been at the central office in Robertsdale since 2002.
A motion was also passed to employ the services of Dan Detman as a consultant to maintain and makes changes to the Human Resources Data System. The agenda stated the system needed to be streamlined to accommodate state and local requirements for such uses as “tracking applicants, maintaining employee records, certification and highly qualified status, background tracking, position control, advertising and tracking substitutes.”
Motions were also passed for leaves of absence, retirement, transfers, employment and extra work for extended periods.
