Andrew “Andy” Peter Cosker, 53, passed away unexpectedly in Mobile on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014.
He was born in Hartford, Conn. on Nov. 24, 1960.
He was predeceased by his father, Philip Raymond Cosker; his mother, Frances Gertrude (Beckwith) Cosker; and older brother, Robert Francis Cosker.
Andy was a proud father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his children, Lindsey Ellott of Loxley, Allison (Samuel) Chandler of Monroeville and Andrea Cosker of Alabama; three grandchildren, Kyler, Taylor and Zakary; his four brothers and five sisters, Philip R. Cosker of Worcestor, Mass., Patricia (Ronald) Simard on New Britain, Conn., Henry (Francine) Cosker of Old Saybrook, Conn., Frances (Don) Grady of Mobile, Michael (Cheryl) Cosker of Foley, Maryann Cosker of Ivoryton, Conn., Sharon (Brian) Stone, of Ivoryton, Conn., John (Beth) Cosker of Seattle, Wash. and Elizabeth (Lloyd) Wheeler of Loxley; many nieces and nephews; and his two closest friends, Ben and Kit, both of Mobile.
Andy was a hard worker. He worked at Tide Marine for several years.
He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him, especially family, friends, his church family and his Bible class group.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at Dayspring Baptist Church, 2200 Cody Road S. in Mobile.
The family will receive friends beginning at 9 a.m.
