Andrew Louis Lay, 68, of Elberta, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011.
He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the Cincinnati Insurance Company. He was on the Board of Trustees of Lay Cemetery. He was a member of Swift Presbyterian Church and was involved with the Alabama Presbyterian Cursillo.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Ann Lay of Elberta; daughter, Dedra (Kenny) Smith of Pensacola, Fla.; son, Steven (Tammy) Lay of Foley; one granddaughter, Kristina Lay (Dewayne) Clark of Gulfport, Miss.; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, William (Amelia) Lay of Jackson, Miss., and Randolph (Linda) Lay of Foley.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Feb. 17 at Swift Presbyterian Church in Foley.
