Anita Colville, 92, a native of New York and resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011.
Miss Colville received her undergraduate degree from William & Mary in 1940 and a master’s degree in social work in 1942 from Columbia University. She was a former employee of the Children’s Aid Society and a member and past president of the Bronxville Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret M. Colville of Daphne; two nephews, Glen Randall Colville of McIntosh, Ala. and W. Robert (Cindy) Colville of Spanish Fort; two great-nephews, Robert Colville Jr. of Auburn and Samuel Colville of Spanish Fort.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Westminster Village, Spanish Fort.
Interment will be in Bronxville, N.Y.
