Anna Elizabeth “Betty” Baker Murphy, 80, a native of Lincoln, Ill., and resident of Lillian, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010.
She was a member of the Lillian United Methodist Church, active with the Baldwin County Republican group, and supporter of the Perdido Library.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Maloy of North Las Vegas, Nev., and Peggy Ladue of Poplarville, Miss.; two sons, Larry Baker of Sullivan Ill., and Thomas Baker of Havelock, N.C.; three step-daughters, Mary Murphy and Donna Fernandez of Sarasota, Fla., and Karen Murphy of Philadelphia; two step-sons, Sean Murphy of Pensacola, Fla., and Mike Murphy of Sarasota, Fla.; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorial donations be made to The Lillian United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 508, Lillian, AL 36549.
Arrangements are by Pine Rest Funeral Home Inc., Foley.
