Anne Wallace Souto, age 89, a native and long time resident of Atlanta, Ga., and a resident of Foley, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012.
Anne Wallace Souto was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Church. She attended Sacred Heart High School and Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. She was Division Administrative Assistant with Avon Products Corporate Offices in Atlanta and retired after 26 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Lola Allen Wallace; husband, Frank G. Souto, sister, Mary Katherine Orr; three brothers, Donald A. Wallace, Paul D. Wallace and William A. Wallace. She is survived by her sister Lola Beth Hayes of Plano,Texas; daughter Beverly Gavant (Malcolm) of Lees Summit, Mo., a son Mike Souto of Foley; two grandchildren Brian Souto (Aimee) of Hoschton, Ga., Corey Elizabeth Carter of Jefferson, Ga., great-grandchild Bowen Souto, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Wednesday, August 8, 2012, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and at H. M. Patterson & Sons Arlington Chapel, Sandy Springs, Ga., Thursday, August 9, 2012, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Atlanta, Ga., Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10:30 am.
