Annie Lou Wallace Chastang, 81, born in Baldwin County and a resident of the Crossroads community of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Justin Wade Chastang of Crossroads, Derwin Kendall (Teresa Lynn) Chastang of Crossroads and Marcus Blake (Dana) Chastang of Texas; two daughters, Pamela (Jeff) Wells of Summerdale and Katrina (David) Manderson of Mobile; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Chastang.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Durant Chapel Baptist Church, with Dr. Henry Cox officiating.
Burial will follow at Chastang Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, from 6 until 9 p.m., at Durant Chapel Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Chastang, Blake Elliott, Sean Wells, Robert Wells, Norris Hall and Jimmy Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, P.O. Box 361767, Birmingham, AL 35236-1767.
