Aquila Langham, 88, a native of Brewton and resident of Silverhill, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at a local health care facility.
Mr. Langham was a WWII Navy veteran. He made five invasions in the South Pacific serving on the USS Calvert.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Chidgey Langham; a brother, Aubrey Langham; and a sister, Doris Palmer.
Survivors include a son, Steve (Charlotte) Langham of Prattville; a sister, Willoweise Langham of Fairhope; two grandchildren, Stephen Langham Jr. and Jennifer C. Langham; two great-grandchildren, Joe Watson Jr. and Burns Musgrove; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Montrose Cemetery.
