DAPHNE, Alabama. - Local businesses and families are stepping up to support the Tickets for Technology campaign now under way to benefit technology initiatives at Daphne High School.
Responding to a challenge from Terry Thompson of Terry Thompson Chevrolet, participants are pledging to contribute a designated amount per ticket sold for Daphne High’s homecoming game against Baker High School on Oct. 28. Thompson has committed to a 50 cents-per-ticket donation for 7,000 tickets, and urges other businesses and individuals to help meet a total goal of $35,000.
Vision Bank, located at 28720 U.S. 98, is partnering with Thompson to promote the campaign and serves as a turn-in site for pledge cards. Pledge cards are also available at Daphne High School and at other Daphne businesses.
Tickets for Technology donors will be recognized throughout homecoming week festivities.
