Armyn G. Klein, born in Manitowoc, Wis., and a longtime resident of Daphne, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012.
He was retired from Delchamps after working there for 22 years and always loved watching Auburn football and was also a big fan of the Green Bay Packers. Armyn was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was also an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher A. Klein. Surviving are his loving wife, Patricia Holt Klein, Daphne; daughter, Shana M. Klein, Fairhope; son, Anthony S. (Monika) Klein, Daphne; two brothers, John (Joyce) Klein, Manitowoc, Wis., and Thomas Klein, Montgomery; twin sisters, Suzanne (Donald) Smith, Sheboygan, Wis., and Sandra (Howard) Bennin, Sheboygan, Wis.; brother in law, Ken Holt, Daphne and many other relatives and friends. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at 10 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne. The family will received friends beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of service.
