Violet H. Arnould, 80, a native and resident of Robertsdale, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009.
She and her husband owned Arnould Floors in Robertsdale and later moved to Orange Beach. There they operated several shrimp boats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Josephine Hovark, daughter, Patricia Arnould, two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her devoted husbband of 60 years, Marion Arnould of Robertsdale; daughter, Vicki (Mike) McBurney of Robertsdale; son, Tim (Teresa) Arnould of Rosinton; three sisters, Betty Sykora of Fairhope, Mary Goodwin of Robertsdale and Lillie Ard of Orange Beach; brother, Jimmy Hovark of Elsanor; and four grandchildren, Connor McBurney, Travis, Tyler and Traci Arnould.
Graveside funeral services and burial were held Friday, Sept. 11 at M.L. Arnould Family Cemetery in Robertsdale.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Community Hospice, 2770 S. McKenzie St., Foley, AL 36535.
