Arrest made in Foley dismemberment case

Carolyn Hood, wife of Foley resident Kenneth Hood who was murdered in November 2014, was arrested yesterday and charged with his murder.

According to the Baldwin County Corrections website, Hood was booked on Sept. 6, around 4 p.m.; she was released this morning, Sept. 7, a little before 9 a.m. on a $100,000 bond.

William Minton was Kenneth Hood’s stepson and was arrested and charged with his murder, after dismembered body parts were found in Magnolia Springs.

Minton’s capital murder trial will begin in December.
