FOLEY, Ala. — The Foley Police Department responded just after midnight Tuesday to a robbery at a residence located at 13281 A McGaster Trail in Foley.
Hiwatha McGaster reported that he was inside his residence when four masked subjects broke in through the front door and demanded money. Two of the subjects had weapons.
One had a shotgun and one had a handgun. Two of the subjects searched the residence for money and two held McGaster at gun point and assaulted him.
After the subjects found his money they left the residence on foot.
McGaster reported $2,200 and a Wii game system stolen. He suffered injuries to this head and face. He was treated at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center and released.
Even though the offenders were masked, the victim recognized their voices and was able to unmask one of the subjects.
Investigators arrested three of the suspects a short time later.
Franklin Lee McCall, 19, of Silverhill, Ala; Xavier Chrazay Rigsby, 19, of Foley and Hazel Lee Windham, 19, of Magnolia Springs.
All were arrested and charged with one count of burglary first, robbery first and assault first.
Cameron Thaddeus Phipps of Foley was found later and was also charged with burglary first, robbery first and assault first.
Phipps is 17 but is being charged as an adult.
All four will be transported to the Baldwin County Corrections Center.
