MOBILE, Ala. — The GMAC Bowl presented the third annual Harbor Communications-WHLC Architecture Art Awards Banquet.
The banquet was held to honor Mobile and Baldwin county schools that have entered their student’s artwork in the annual contest presented by the GMAC Bowl.
This year’s theme was “GMAC Bowl: Ten Years of Excellence,” in honor of the bowl’s 10th anniversary.
The Awards Banquet was held at Naman’s Middle Bay Café USA Brookley Field on Nov. 12, where the winners of each category were announced.
The GMAC Bowl awarded cash prizes to the art program of the winning student’s school, as well as, gift certificates and other great prizes for each winning student.
“The GMAC Bowl is proud to support our local schools and their art programs with this contest. It is one of many events that we have that focus on our young people and helps support their schools and programs. We work closely with our sponsors, Harbor Communications, WHLC Architecture and Lyons Share, to make sure this is a great event,” states Julie Jeter, director of marketing and media relations for the GMAC Bowl.
Winning entries/students will be featured in the GMAC Bowl Football Program. The winning artwork will be displayed at the Mobile Museum of Art, Bel Air Mall, the Eastern Shore Art Center and Naman’s Midtown Market throughout the year.
