ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — The Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival (FBISF) is now accepting artwork submissions for this year’s festival poster. This marks the 27th year of the popular festival.
The event is scheduled for Nov. 10-20, 2011 and showcases the talents of Grammy-award winning songwriting legends, as well as the stars of the future, at multiple venues along the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast. The Southeast Tourism Society has named the 2011 festival as one of the top 20 events in the Southeast.
The winning submission will be used to promote the 2011 Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival and will also appear on the festival poster, festival performance program, official T-shirt and other promotional items. Eligible media include: acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels, drawings, printmaking and digital art. Poster submissions will be judged on their originality, creative integrity and overall capacity to embrace the essence of the annual Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival.
The winning artist will be awarded $300.
