LOXLEY — Area shoppers and art enthusiasts alike will find the Municipal Park in Loxley an exciting point of interest Nov. 10-11. Beginning at 9 a.m. each day, artists from here and abroad will be exhibiting and selling their work to the public.
A broad variety of arts and crafts will be sold, including, but not limited to pottery, jewelry, stained glass, paintings, sculptures and garden art. The exhibits will also feature heritage crafters demonstrating the more Old World techniques of lace and candle making.
There will also be a Blue Grass Music Festival at 10 a.m. on Nov. 10, followed shortly thereafter by the Alpha Delta Kappa Muscle Car Show at 11 a.m. The next day beginning at 1:30, there will be performances by “City Rhythm Big Band,” Central Baldwin Middle School, and the Robertsdale High School Marching Band.
The weekend’s events are all free to the public from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The art show will be held in the adjacent Civic Center building, and will provide an excellent opportunity to do some preemptive shopping before the holidays.
