Canal Road Art Merchants in Orange Beach are hosting a fun-filled pre-holiday sales event called the Arty Party.

This two-day event starts Friday  and ends Saturday at the Orange Beach Arts Center for a tailgate party with raffle drawings and live music.  Each day of the event customers are encouraged to visit participating merchants who will have something special happening:  music, demonstrations and wonderful items at discounted prices.  Visitors can enter a complimentary raffle for distinctive prizes of a $200-plus value.

The 10 separate raffle drawings (one from each Arty Party location) will take place bayside at OBAC Saturday evening at the Arty Party Tailgate Bash.

The more participating merchants you visit, the more chances you have to win something fabulously arty!  Keep the prize for yourself or be a generous Santa and gift it to your favorite arty friend or family member.

This is an excellent opportunity to see what is new at some of Orange Beach’s favorite shops and galleries. Each location will have a warm and inviting ‘open house’ feel. No pressure to purchase, they just want to ‘up the happy’ along Canal Road and hope that the feeling will extend out to other businesses, homes and offices.

The Arty Party is yet another creative idea from Orange Beach designer, Merrill Miller. Creating a festive atmosphere to counteract the economically and emotionally depressing summer was an antidote each shop owner could get excited about. The merchants generously included the Orange Beach Arts Center in their plans with an eye to expand the exposure of a the Arts Center to visitors and members of the community.
