Frank Arnold Aspinwall, 81, born in Eastport, Fla., and a resident of Stockton, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008 in Mobile.

He was a claims manager for Old Southern Life Insurance Company in Montgomery and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church in Mobile where he faithfully served as an usher and he was also a member of Stockton First Baptist Church in Stockton and a member of the Stockton Coffee Club and also a member of the Fort Mims Restoration Association.

Survivors include a son, John G. (Angela) Aspinwall of Montgomery; daughter, Frances A. (Dr. Mark) Donahue of Mobile; two brothers, George N. Aspinwall of Jacksonville, Fla., and Leslie Aspinwall of Tallahassee, Fla.; six grandchildren, Chris Cleghorn, Traci Cleghorn, Bryant Aspinwall, Elizabeth Donahue, Drew Aspinwall and Madeline Donahue; and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1 Cottage Hill Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie McCarson officiating.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at Stockton First Baptist Church in Stockton with the Rev. Glen Whitfield Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Richerson Cemetery.

The active pallbearers will be Bryant Aspinwall, Drew Aspinwall, Chris Cleghorn, Terrell Smith, Bobby Smith and Charles Hillman.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Stockton First Baptist Church Building Fund, 52700 State Hwy. 59, Stockton, AL 36579.
