I wanted to recognize a star in the community: Brad from Go Play Pet Service.

While visiting Fairhope I found a stray dog trotting down the center of Scenic 98. Kudos to the fine folks of Fairhope; all of the motorists stopped and got out of their cars to assist in securing the little white Chihuahua. The kind staff at Wentzels went above and beyond in their assistance, too.

All of the rescue organizations and animal services offices were closed because it was a Sunday. I Googled “pet sitters” to ask for advice on what to do; our hosts were not set up to receive a stray dog, and we couldn’t find anyone to help.

I called Brad from Go Play Pet Service for advice. He volunteered to come to us to pick up the little dog, foster her overnight and deliver her to Haven Pet Rescue in the morning. What a great guy, what a lovely family. I would trust my pet to these caring, compassionate folks any day.
